Exploring the intersection of Python and music, combining live demos, historical context, and practical insights into how Python fits into music production and performance. It draws on my experience using FoxDot - a Python interface to the SuperCollider synthesizer - since 2017 to create interactive and engaging musical demos. Building on that foundation, the talk also examines newer tools and alternatives that have emerged following FoxDot’s retirement.
